    Screen Recording Software

    Do you guys use an Screen Recording software (audio+video)?

    I am planning to try doing some video tutorials but I am not sure which software to use...

    Fraps ... Easy to use, cheap. Used a lot for video game on screen tutorials. I used it a lot when I was umm...<ahem> playing World of Warcraft years ago, showing noobs how not to fail. LOL!

    On a Mac, I use Snapz. Just like doing a screen capture, only on a non-static image.

    I have one but wont recommend it since it drops so many frames per second, it gets pretty choppy.

    thanks guys... do Fraps and Snapz do audio as well?

    Fraps is great with video and audio. As long as you have a good mic connected to your PC, you can record audio. Audio can be recorded directly from an input device like your mic or audio coming from a program (ie: iTunes)

    can it record audio internally, without going through a mike and picking up background noises in the room?
