How much risk is too much?

Sad story about a woman being photographed in her wedding dress plunging to her death, Linked Story. Makes you wonder how sometimes people go too far to try to get that one, special picture. Very sad and my heart goes out to the family and the photographer

wow... that's sad... I hate to think that the photographer 'suggested' the bride to pose to close to the edge... I hope I am wrong.. either way, it's definitely a traumatic experience for the photographer who actually was able to grab her hand to try and save her (reminds me of that cliffhanger movie)

I heard about this on the evening news. Very sad. Maybe some poor judgement and lack of common sense. A typical wedding dress is a lot of fabric and when wet will be very heavy. I would be worried about this even on a calm lake, let alone in water with a current.

ive had models banged up a bunch of times but safety is always a top priority.

    Terrible tragedy.

Wow. I used to live around the corner from there. All summer long the waters there are filled with swimmers ignoring the signs that tell you to stay out. People even jump off the cliffs along that specific waterfall. Very sad.

It was said on the newspaper that the spot was a regular for photographers, so there are many people who've gotten lucky at getting the photo. Safety first though.
