    Eye Fi ?!?! Too Awesome!!!

I finally figured out how to upload photos to my playbook on the go straight from my camera, similar to what the apple ipad does.
Heres the site, but anyways, I get to use my tablet as a larger lcd screen. Too Awesome indeed!

What's the write speed of the card? Would it be able to handle the burst mode?

I've had experience with this. It's a cool innovation, but practicality is very low.

When you are shooting studio, you can always tether (yes, there'll be a cable in the way, but transferring raw files is so fast). It is good when you don't have a computer on location and want to do a bit of wireless tethering with JPG. If you are doing RAW or bursting, it becomes bogged down and doesn't transfer fast/at all.

To do something like this right you need to forget about an Eye-Fi (what was that, $80 or so?) and buy a D4 for $6,300 and then add a WT-5A Wireless Transmitter for another $900. Then you have a web server with a wireless router in a tiny package right next to your camera! See how easy that is? Way better than hacking something together with an Eye-Fi

In case you didn't notice, that was sarcasm. As unpractical as the Eye-Fi sounds in practice, I think it's a cool way of doing something interesting. Did you get the 8GB Pro model? Unfortunately (or thankfully) my D700 takes CF so I can't (won't) be forced to spend more money on this.

To each their own in regards to Eye-Fi's usability. If you really want a wireless situation in studio. There are DIY and such that works well and are low cost :P I'm sure google will provide a lot of answers.

It may not be as compact as a SD card inside the camera, but usability is much higher since it's able to transfer consistently at higher speeds.
