    Eneloops and Charger

I was wondering if someone can recommend the type of Eneloop batteries and charger I should get. I heard different variations of the batteries but not sure which is better. I also heard about a charger that will discharge and charge the battery to keep the life expectancy of each battery optimal.

    Thanks!

I usually wait for a Dell deal to pick up eneloop's, sometimes you can get a pretty good price. I've never purchased, but some people claim the white topped Duracell rechargeable's which go on sale at Shoppers from time-to-time are also eneloop's. I use a Maha charger which can condition individual batteries I bought from Canada Computers on College last Christmas. It works great with the eneloops and I can do 8 AA/AAA batteries at a time which is nice as well.

Thanks! I saw these at Canada Computers. Anyone using the black (2500mAh) ones or is the one packed with 8 (multi colored) a better deal?

All of those Eneloops are great. I personally prefer the black ones, since i cant imagine not losing them before i charge them 1500 times! ha ha

I have the Lacross. I love the refresh option and it does a great job of charging batteries with variable rates.

Hmm...so, I just found out that the Maha chargers are called PowerEx and found them at Canada Computers. I was wondering what I should get?

I'm thinking the rapid charger is enough as I don't really have stuff in the house that uses C and D cells.

I bought the Powerex MH-C801D as I don't have any C/D rechargeable cells and it was on sale at CC during Christmas. It's been working like a charm since I got it. Unless you need the C/D stuff or have plans for it in the future, you might as well save some $$.

That's what I was thinking. I don't think I may have any use for a rechargeable C and D cell. I don't have anything in the house using that anyway.
