So Nikon is raising the pixel count on the base camera's. The 3200 is out and I wonder how quickly a 5200/7200 hit the market with the new sensor. What's more interesting is the WU-1a for $70. It looks awkward to use and only works with Android right now but there's seem to be a lot of webbifying of camera stuff to compete with the camera phones getting better and better. It's fun comparing the WU-a for 70 with the D4 web server one at $500 though!

There can be only one! Highlaaaaaannnnnnnddddddddeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrr rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Oh wait, this is a camera forum and not the Scottish highlands. As interesting as this is I don't think it brings much to the 3100, more pixels requires better lenses, nicer display and slightly better video. Still, it's better than nothing. I'm curious to see what happens to the D7000 and the D300 replacements.
I also wish they put out a new firmware for the D700 to use the WU-1a, that would be awesome;)

Just a FYI
D3200 now has the best sensor on any APS-C camera out there. (Cropped cameras). See full report on Dxo. Beats out the D7000, and the 7D..... not bad. but then again, the sensor only makes up a small portion of quality of a camera.

oh no, so my D7000 sensor is no longer the best crop sensor in the business? ha ha
I should downgrade to the D3200! Kidding. Sounds like a great entry level camera!!
