What does adjust do for the black amd white?

Not to crazy about the first one although I understand you're just playing around. I really like the second b+w though. It did a great job. I'm currently using an old outdated PS plugin called Convert to Black and White from the Image Factory but I'm looking at the Nik stuff. I'm liking the Topaz conversion so I'll give the demo a shot.

There is a neat button call roll the dice.... basically it edits your photo at random. Thats the first pic. The 2nd pic was randomed too, I'm sure you can do that with just photoshop, but it just looks clean.

The first one seems so artsy and the second one is very clean.

yes, the first one is a bit over the top, but after 'rolling the dice' you can adjust this using the sliders on the right side.

i have been using Topaz Labs for quite some time, my favorites are the Topaz Adjust and Topaz Detail (different sharpening techniques)

Its really nice. I think I would get more benefit out of it if I was more into landscaping photography.
