I guess I'll start posting my review of this camera.

For now, I just opened the box, put the battery on (9% left) put my 24-70 and CF card, and shot in Aperture Priority

Changed the setting to Small RAW

Sample shot of my daughter... mind you that she is a moving target

ISO 2500
f2.8
1/320

no flash, converted to jpeg

for the next shot, ISO 6400, i noticed the noise up at 100%, but totally usable... with the 5D2, i can shoot comfortably/confidently at ISO 3200, but not 6400...

and finally at ISO 12800, I did use Camera Raw's Noise Reduction here and did some sharpening... the point being, the photos are still useable even at 12,800

AF is much better?

Can't confirm that yet. But it seems better. The tests are for iso for now.

Hmmm. Tricky question.

As a hobbyist, probably not.
As a pro, most probably. But i will confirm next weekend :)

How's the sharpness. From the samples I've seen I've yet to see a tack sharp image.

Havent really tested yet. Buy as far as i can tell, my photos are not as 'soft' as the sample shots i've seen online.

i did some more testing this morning, and unfortunately, i don't see any difference in terms of sharpness between mk2 and mk3.
