Otherwise, it's a light modifier.

The light has more specular highlights to it. So if you want a nice sheen on the skin or "wet skin" look, it works really well. Try one of those Calvin Klein look shoots with models with wet skin slick.

Otherwise, it can really light groups too. So group shooting shots.

Just dont take it out in the wind!!! I learned that the hard way!

one thing that you need for sure, is space! lol

this can give you a ring light (shadowless) effect. we can use this for one of our events.... :)

looks great, J. The colors are fun.

This must be with the sock, because i would expect brighter highlights form the PLM generally?

Haha :) u guessed it! Definitely the sock.

How many lights do u think I used? Or what does anyone think the setup was?

Try it without. It's strength is the ability to create really specular highlights to make skin really pop in a lot of cases.

Number of lights? With the tight crop and slightly unexposed background, i am guessing PLM for front lighting and one edge light from the right side, and that's it.

And chopper named it off right away :). I had two white reflectors on the floor too for some bottom fill but I think they werent as affective as I wanted them
