Here are a few from a series I did a little while ago using a ring flash adapter and an off camera continuous ring light. (sorry about the file size and loading times, not sure how to insert as thumbnails)

Very cool! Did you like working with it? would you do it again?

I loved the setup, I would definitely do it again if the need arose or a client wanted it.
Nice, I always like the ring flash effect. Can you tell us what brand of ring flash adapter you got? I am thinking of getting the cheap cheap ebay Chinese one.

I thought the ring light was primarily designed to eliminate shadows behind the subject. However, in these shots, there is a definite shadow behind the subjects. Maybe you were too far away?

Depending on proximity to the subject and the background there will be a shadow. The upside to ring ght shadows is that they are even and soft. When combined with the halo look of the ring flash, I actually like the look. I can see and understand not wanting any shadow too though.
Etam I was using a cheap eBay version, many of the reviews I read we're very favorable. I've enjoyed using it up to this point.

ah i see. I wasn't critiquing the photos, they are fun. I wasn't just sure about ring light use and placement for shadow elimination.
